The name “Rapujè’’ comes from the ancient custom of
gathering bunches of grapes forgotten on the vines about
15 days before the end of the harvest.
Nebbiolo, Dolcetto and Barbera aged together give us
the joy of being able to savour the wine of our grandparents
today.
Ruby red colour with violet nuances ; delicate, floral, intense,
full and lingering aromas; fresh, fruity, full, complex,
dry and harmonious
Serving temperature 18°-20°C
Nebbiolo - Believed to have been cultivated in the Langhe district before the 14th century. Nebbiolo is notoriously difficult to grow and make into fine wine outside of Piemonte region. The wines, Barolo & Barbaresco tend to be the most in need of aging, other wines made in the modernist style are becoming more approachable at a young age.
