Uve Di Langa: Pure distillate of a combination of aromatic and choice grapes from the Langhe zone. After a long and slow fermentation it is immediately distilled by means of an alembic in bain-marie. Intense bouquet with the fragrance of fresh grapes and rich in flowery notes.
Tasting notes: Very soft with a round and delicate body with
a clean and remarkably pleasant finish.
Moscato is an ancient white varietal characterized by a fresh and aromatic character. It is widely diffused throughout Italy, particularly in Piedmont. Various clones of this grape exist today from white to red. The vine was probably brought to Italy by the Phoenicians and Greeks. They range from the large-berried Alexandria varietal (called Zibibbo) to the small-berried Moscato Bianco of Asti fame. Part of the Apianae family of grapes, named after the Api – bees – of ancient Rome who were said to have loved this grape for its musky perfume and rich, sweet taste.
